2011 has been the year of royal weddings. After Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, Zara Phillips, 29 year old granddaughter of Queen was also got married to Mike Tindall, her Rugby player boyfriend.
Mike has proposed Zara with a vintage style diamond ring. The two got engaged just after five weeks of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement but it was not a formal engagement like theirs. After being in relation for seven years, the two have finally decided to take the relation to the next level. The engagement was a surprise for Zara as she was shocked and happy when Mike proposed her.
Zara, who is 12th in line to the throne, was looking as bright and dazzling as her ring on the engagement day. The ring holds a round solitaire diamond set on pave diamond platinum split shank.
The design of the ring was quite pleasing and eye-catching but the cost of the ring is not known as the quality of the diamond is unknown.
